Outdoor Wedding Restrooms

Your wedding is your special day, and you want everything to be perfect. There are so many details; it can seem overwhelming.

If you are having an outdoor wedding, you have the opportunity to host your nuptials against stunning backdrops and enmeshed in nature. However, this type of wedding presents some unique challenges.

You’ve probably thought about the logistics of the weather, the ceremony and the meal for your outdoor wedding, but have you thought about the restrooms. Here are some things to keep in mind about restrooms for outdoor weddings in particular.

Keep Your Guests Comfortable

You may love the great outdoors, but not all of your guests may be as enthusiastic as you are about nature.

That’s why you’ve got to provide restroom facilities that mimic the same experience that you get when you use the facilities indoors.

It’s all about keeping your guests comfortable. This includes the interior of the port-a-potty (i.e. make sure your units are of adequate size to let your guests use them comfortably in their wedding finery) and where the units are located.

You don’t want to have them right in the heart of the activity, but you also don’t want to have your guests trudge for miles just to use the restroom.

Not Just any Port-a-Potty: You Need to Meet the Standards of Your Big Day

Your wedding is the day that you pull out all of the stops to make sure that it is extra special.

That’s the same attitude you need to employ when deciding on your port-a-potty.

Set a budget for your restroom facilities and don’t make this an area in which you cut corners.

It’s one of those subtle details that can enhance a wedding or make it less than special for guests.

There are a wide range of port-a-potty options available, from full flush toilets, to more basic models. Make sure that your selection mirrors the rest of your wedding details.

What Your Port-a-Potty Needs to Include

There are a few basic elements that are essential for your guests to be completely comfortable at your wedding.

You need a toilet, of course, but your port-a-potty also needs to have a sink for hand washing and a mirror so that guests can refresh makeup etc. when they visit the restroom.
